Active Home Inspections Inc. is a certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). ASHI has established the benchmark for the inspection industry. Acquiring membership is not easy. An inspector has to perform 250 inspections prior to taking a tough ASHI Exam. Upon passing the exam the inspector's report system is evaluated. Once all the requirements are met, then, the inspector becomes a certified member. To keep this membership status the inspector has to maintain 40 credit hours of education every 2 years.
